Shipping Methods

Midwest Marine Supplies has years of experience shipping both the little stuff and the big stuff.  Most products under 70 pounds will ship via  UPS or Fed Ex.  In stock items will generally ship within 48 hours of your order and will be delivered between 1 and 5 business days afterword depending on your distance from us.

Boat lift canopy canvas are generally made to order and ship within 7-10 business days during the “off” season and can take up to 6 weeks during the busy season.  These ship direct from the canvas manufacturer via UPS or Fed Ex.  Once shipped you will be emailed a tracking number.

Larger products, over 70 pounds, or 10′ long, will ship via LTL freight services or hot shot truck.  Generally these large items are shipped within 5-10 business days.  If shipped via LTL truck you’ll receive a shipment notification with a bill of lading number.  You can track your shipment just like a UPS shipment via the courier site.  Most freight companies will call to schedule an appointment for delivery.  You must be there for deliver to help unload your pallet.  If asked please do not ask for a lift gate as it won’t help with most of the larger shipments.  You can quickly break the pallet apart on the semi and unload it quickly piece by piece.  All LTL freight is shipped wrapped in plastic and banded with steel banding.  You will need a razor blade and snips to cut the banding.

If your product is being delivered via hot shot truck we will let you know the day and approx. time of day we’ll be there.  We ask that you are there just like an LTL shipment to help unload as well.
