Brake trailers have 10” disc brakes, with a modern concealed brake coupler built into the frame of the trailer. Our PMI pontoon trailers are built with a 3/16” thick 4” steel tube frame (5” on Super Duty II™ Trailers), the strongest most durable pontoon trailer made. | 10” Disc brakes that are not just slip on brakes. We use true Disc brake axles that are held on with the hubs castle nut. Each axle with brakes has 3500lbs of stopping power. | Modern concealed brake coupler for all brake trailers. Has a lock out solenoid that locks out the brake fluid from engaging the brakes when backing up. We provide you with a 7way round to 5 flat adapter to allow for this. | Modern pontoons have large 25” or 27” pontoon tubes. LED lights throughout the trailer. It only cost a few extra dollars to change all the lights out to LED. Incandescent lights burst when you back your trailer in the cold water. LED lights draw a fraction of the power and never give you trouble. | ST175/80R13D tires are the most common trailer tire on the market. They have a capacity of 1610 lbs. per tire and if you need a new one you can find them anywhere. | Most pontoon trailers have a 1600 lb. winch. We use a 3200 lb. winch because lets face it, pontoon boats are not getting any lighter. | A simple U bolt is welded to the winch stand. This prevents the boat from bouncing going down the road.
